HI.

Uh yeah no updates for a while.
Partially because I'm a lazy asshole, partially because I had other work to do, and partially because I've been doing different Universal Compass related material.

I have been really intimidated when it's come to making new pages because I don't totally have them planned out. For the first ~100 or so pages, I knew exactly what was going to happen in every panel. Every page. I planned it out months ahead of time. But then after I had the first 100 pages set in stone, I just created a series of events that were loosely connected toward each other and I figured I'd just plan it out as I went. That totally didn't work for me. Being so used to having a direct plan to work from, I was kind of lost when I had to just kind of draw the page on the spot. So, I went and I planned a hundred or so more pages. And I also fleshed out the plot and characters a lot more. Like, a lot. I'd say I have 50% more content about them than I did before. And before I had worked on creating them and the plot for 6 months.

But, even with this planned I was unmotivated to actually create pages. I kind of just got a boost of motivation though when I ran into a few fanworks than were never emailed to me. It's pretty inspiring, even with such a small amount!
I'd begin work on pages right away if I had my tablet with me. But no, I am sitting in my hotel room with a computer and no tablet. So I can't. I'll do it when I get back from vacation.

Also, I don't think I can keep up the fanart page anymore. I got a lot of new fanart and it's actually pretty time consuming to put up one piece. I'll take it down soon. You can still email me though and show me it, and I'll reply!
